Who We Are
Magicats, Inc., a feline rescue “no kill” organization, serves cats and kittens in South Central Idaho. Founded in 2010 as a private 501(c)(3) private non-profit all-volunteer group, we believe that positive permanent changes in animal welfare can best occur when rescue groups educate, cooperate, communicate, and coordinate. Annually, about 200 cats and kittens pass through our network of volunteer foster homes while awaiting permanent adoptive homes. Also, on a case-by-case basis as resources permit, we provide limited trap-neuter-return (TNR) assistance. Three local veterinary practices provide  medical care, including wellness evaluation, full annual immunizations, testing for FIV/FELV, spay/neuter surgery, and provide medical direction as appropriate. Carefully screened adoptions occur through our website, petfinder.com, adoptapet.com, and our Facebook pages. Twin Falls PetSmart is our primary on site adoption venue. We receive no government support. All funding comes from adoption fees, private donations, occasional small grants and fund raisers, and the generosity of donors, large and small. We welcome loving, responsible foster families and individuals willing to work with cats in crisis or who are interested in financially sponsoring specific animals, or assist with donations or fundraising activities to ensure that our Magicats get great forever homes.

Simon
SIMON is about a year old. He has spent most of his life living on the streets, fed occasionally by a friendly man in a transient trailer park. A Magicats supporter identified him as a kid who needed a break. In a Magicats foster home he has enjoyed safe haven and has quickly adjusted to his good fortune.

Sunny
My name is SUNNY and I'm about 15 months old. I was born last summer into a family that loved its many kitties. Then our human mom went to a care center and some caregivers moved in to care for dad. They brought a bunch of dogs and our lives became a nightmare.

Maggie May
My name is Maggie May, and I’m eight years old, in my prime and needing a new Forever Home.  When I was just two, I was lost or dumped and almost froze to death. I was rescued by a wonderful older lady who took me to the vet, and saved my life. I became her Forever Friend!
