2011 - 2012 Brought Us Many Beautiful Black Babies
Bombay X
These cats and kittens have ancestry of British or American Bombays, and often look like little
"parlor panthers," with their short, sleek, glossy black coats, and bright copper or golden eyes.
They're great pets who become very attached to their families and love a good lap.
They're intelligent, playful, and attention seeking and get along well with other cats
once the pecking order in the household is established.
Black Domestic Long Hairs
This is a generic name for black cats and kittens with long, soft black coats which may need
special periodic grooming. They might be part Maine Coon, Persian, Manx, or any number
of other feline blood lines, but are characterized by soft, long black hair. Generally, they're
mellow and loving, with great personalities, get along well with other cats and kittens, and are
good family members. An example is Thomas, a Magicats Volunteer Feline who makes sure that
everyone who fosters at his home is welcomed and loved.
