Purr-ell
Purr-elll is a nine month old highly independent bundle of energy who came to Magicats after turning up as a baby in a suburban driveway.  Taken in, she loved the big dogs, but a family allergy made it impossible for her to stay. After spending some time in one of our Magicats foster homes, she has spent the last two months at our local veterinary clinic receiving some one-on-one attention. Purr-ell is NOT a fan of other cats and is fearful of them, so we have limited her contact.

We believe at some point she was mishandled with other cats; and also encouraged to play rough with people. This high energy play over-stimulates her and is painful for humans.  We have worked diligently and patiently to help her overcome these problems,. She has learned to be more careful with claws and teeth, and dearly wants to please, but is often unsure what is expected.

Her name, Purr-ell, ("My Good Girr-ell") spoken with in a low purring tone,  has become her cue to relax and enjoy humans.  Purr-ell will be a very good pet in a household with cat-friendly dogs, and experienced cat people who understand her high energy and are able to set boundaries and help her continue to learn.

She has had her surgery, all shots for one year, and is negative for FIV/FELV.  She has no outside experience.  She is not recommended for a family with cats or small children.
